Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, delivered a message during the Recovery Conference held in Benin City, emphasizing the divine truth that Christians do not suffer because the sufferings of humanity have been paid for by Christ.
In his words, “No Christian suffers; Christians grow. Stop saying you are suffering—you are growing. We don’t suffer; the sufferings of humanity have been paid for by Christ. What we do is grow, not suffer.”
Addressing the congregation, Apostle Suleman reassured attendees that whatever challenges they were experiencing, such as financial difficulties or lack of resources, were part of God’s divine processing.
He stated, “You can’t feed, you tread to the stadium, you didn’t even have food on the table, you came here without anything in your pocket—you are not suffering. God is processing you. It can never be Jehovah-Jireh if you have not been broke before. The name of God came after an encounter of the mighty act of God.”
Apostle Suleman encouraged believers not to lose faith, highlighting God’s unfailing promises. “Don’t let anyone tell you that God has abandoned you. He said, ‘I will never leave you.’ No matter what you are going through, the Bible says, ‘And it came to pass.’ Whatever has come will pass; nothing comes to stay. It comes so it can pass.”
In a prophetic declaration, he added, “In the name of Jesus, may I decree that everyone under the sound of my voice—God is about to prove Himself in your life this year. God is processing you into the place of your rest this year. God is processing you.”
